Huddle up

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes engages coaches and athletes to grow in their faith and sport.

Get In Touch

Teamates,

I hope you had a truly refreshing day yesterday as we joined a community of FCA family around the globe in praying and fasting. As we continue to explore what sports ministry looks like in our socially-distanced landscape, we're so excited to share with you about our first-ever global digital Huddle. In this season without sports, we see tremendous opportunity for these Huddle events to reach large volumes of coaches and athletes searching for connection and sports-related content.

This Friday at 3:30PM EST, we'll be hosting a Youtube Live event we're calling Huddle Up! A Global Sports Gathering.

This online Huddle will be emceed by Ben Watson (retired NFL Tight End) and feature Adam Wainwright (MLB Pitcher), Brandin Cooks (NFL Receiver) and Luke McCown (retired NFL Quarterback) talking about what their lives have looked like in this season without sports, how they're staying engaged in their faith and will close with a clear Gospel presentation.

Key Information:

  • To join, just go to FCA’s YouTube channel at YouTube Live event at (youtube.com/fcavideo).
  • Following this initial Huddle Up!, we'll move to a weekly cadence of Huddle Up! events every Wednesday at 3:30PM EST.
  • There will be many resources on our Help Center for you to promote this to your coaches, athletes and other networks.
  • We are partnering in the Huddle Up! initiative with Professional Athletes Outreach (PAO) and Nations of Coaches.
  • As we build out the concept and process of “Huddle Up!” we’re recommending the name to only be used for these global gatherings. For local and regional huddles, we’re recommending you use “FCAvirtual Huddle”.

We pray this will be a blessing to you, and the coaches and athletes you serve, and we can't wait to see what God will do in this gathering!
